Fluorescent nano aluminum oxide
Function:
- Nano Al2O3reflects the ultraviolet light through the phosphor layer, which makes it continue to excite the phosphor and improves the luminous efficiency of the fluorescent lamp.
- Nano alumina acts as a barrier layer for mercury diffusion, which can minimize the amount of mercury and prolong the lamp life.
- Nano aluminum trioxide as a binder can improve the bonding strength between phosphor and glass tube, so that phosphor does not fall off.
Usage method:
- The fluorescent lamp is produced by using nano-alumina protective film. First, the nano-alumina protective film is coated inside the glass tube. The coating thickness is about 3-5um.
- In order to improve the bonding strength of phosphor layer, nano sized aluminium oxide is usually added into the slurry of phosphor, the quality of which is 2-5% of that of phosphor.
- Finally, the phosphor with nano-aluminum trioxide is coated on the protective film of alumina in the form of slurry, and then the fluorescent lamp is made by other subsequent process.
